Gladys instilled confidence in her children and grandchildren by her unconditional love. She taught her family what is truly important in life, to love, support and care for family and friends. She devoted her life to nurturing her daughters and caring for her husband. She was a homemaker in the true sense of the word. She was quiet and unassuming and always saw the best in everyone. Gladys was a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren by attending their athletic events, concerts and theatrical productions. Gladys enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, knitting, canning and in her earlier years archery and fishing. Prior to being a stay-at-home mom and raising her family, Gladys was employed at the H.C. Peter Claver Catholic Church he preceded her in death March 19, 2001. Gladys was united in marriage to Henry Hamus on Jat St. She attended Sheboygan schools and graduated from Central High School. Gladys was born Novemin Fond du Lac to the late Raymond and Myrtle (Smith) Hennen. Hamus, age 96, of Sheboygan passed away early Thursday morning November 25, 2021.
